Anjan Mallik
Chairman
Mr. Anjan Mallik is a distinguished professional and a cornerstone of Everest Agrogenics Ltd. known for his strategic vision and disciplined leadership, he has been instrumental since the company's inception in establishing its corporate framework, financial discipline and governance systems. His expertise has been a primary driver of the organization's sustainable growth and long-term stability.
Beyond his current role, Mr. Mallik is the Co-founder and Chief Financial Strategist of Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where his guidance in developing foundational financial structures and corporate strategies was essential to the company's early success and continued oversight.
Building on an extensive career in the pharmaceutical sector, Mr. Mallik has worked with leading domestic and multinational organizations in Bangladesh, gaining substantial exposure to both local and international business environments. His expertise encompasses financial management for large corporate groups, IPO management, financial auditing, regulatory compliance and supply chain management. He maintains strong professional relationships with national and international financial institutions, ensuring robust fiscal health for the organizations he leads.
An experienced Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, Mr. Mallik's qualifications reflect his unwavering commitment to excellence in finance and corporate governance.
Mohammad Shaheen Shah
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr. Mohammad Shaheen Shah is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of extensive experience in the veterinary pharmaceuticals and livestock industry. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in driving business growth, expanding market presence and delivering innovative solutions aligned with evolving industry needs.
He possesses comprehensive expertise across a broad range of veterinary pharmaceutical products, including veterinary nutrition, premix supplements & feed additive. This diverse knowledge base has established him as a recognized leader in advancing integrated livestock and aquaculture solutions. A strong advocate for innovation, he brings significant experience in operational leadership across multiple pharmaceutical segments.
Under his guidance, Everest Agrogenics Ltd. continues to identify emerging market opportunities and introduce high-quality, demand-driven products that enhance productivity, profitability and sustainability across the livestock and aquaculture sector. He is widely recognized for his strengths in strategic planning, partnership development and leading cross-functional teams in highly competitive environments.
In addition to his corporate leadership role, Mr. Shah serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member (Guest Teacher) in the Department of Pharmacy at Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, where he contributes to academic development by sharing practical industry insights with the next generation of professionals.
Mohammad Saiful Islam
Managing Director
Mr. Mohammad Saiful Islam serves as the Managing Director of Everest Agrogenics Ltd., where he provides strategic leadership and oversees overall operational management. His strong focus on production excellence and process optimization ensures the organization upholds the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and sustainable growth.
He is also the Co-Founder and Director, Operations at Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Where he has played a key role in establishing and strengthening operational systems, particularly in pharmaceutical manufacturing and production management, since the company’s inception.
A highly respected pharmaceutical manufacturing professional, Mr. Islam brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his roles. Throughout his career, he has worked with several leading pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, gaining extensive expertise in production operations, manufacturing excellence and quality management systems. His technical depth and operational leadership continue to be central to the sustained growth and integrity of the organizations he leads.
Md Zakir Hossain
Director
Mr. Zakir Hossain serves as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction, operational framework and overall business development since its inception.
He also plays a central role in the strategic oversight and long-term organizational development of Everest Agrogenics Ltd.
With over 15 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Hossain has worked across various functional areas in both local and multinational companies prior to co-founding Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd. His professional background further includes four years of military service, which has deeply reinforced his discipline, leadership capability, and structured decision-making approach.
Mr. Hossain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Jahangirnagar University and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He is widely recognized for his ability to combine strong technical pharmaceutical knowledge with solid business acumen to drive organizational success.
A K M Anwarul Hoq
Director
Mr. Anwarul Hoq is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he has been instrumental in establishing strong market foundations and leading business development initiatives since the company’s inception.
Prior to co-founding Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Mr. Hoq successfully led one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh for over a decade. During this time, he was pivotal in initiating and developing the market for locally manufactured oncology products, a contribution that has earned him wide recognition as a leading figure in pharmaceutical marketing in Bangladesh.
His strong technical expertise, combined with deep industry knowledge and relentless dedication, continues to drive meaningful impact across the organizations he leads.
Mr. Hoq holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Jahangirnagar University and an MBA from North South University, Bangladesh.
Mohammad Moznu Mollah
Director
Mr. Mohammad Moznu Mollah is responsible for leading human resource management, organizational development and administrative functions. He plays a key role in building effective teams, strengthening internal systems and fostering a productive corporate culture.
He is also the Co-Founder and Director, HRM & Administration at Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he has contributed significantly to the development of the company’s human resource structure and administrative framework since its inception.
Mr. Mollah began his career as a pharmaceutical marketer in Bangladesh and progressed swiftly into senior management roles. Prior to co-founding Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., he was actively involved in investments spanning the pharmaceutical, real estate and human resources sectors in the UAE. His professional journey reflects a diverse background that bridges pharmaceutical expertise with cross-border entrepreneurial experience.
With strong leadership, team-building capabilities and a dynamic personality, Mr. Mollah has established himself as a successful entrepreneur and a respected figure in the organizations he leads.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Jahangirnagar University and an MBA from Headway Institute of Bangladesh.
